Scientists say it’s probably for the best if you don’t sit on the
toilet for more than 10 to 15 minutes. You should definitely go to sit
on the toilet only when you need to poop – not when you want to do a
leisure activity. When you don’t have the urge, you’re making your body
attempt to strain or push even more thinking it needs to get your toilet
business done, when it really doesn’t.
All that straining and pushing when nothing’s coming out can lead to
