How to boost your metabolism?
I’m sure you’ve heard someone say this before, or perhaps you’ve been wanting to do this yourself? (more on this in a minute).
Metabolism is a complex process related to your body’s ability to produce and store energy from the foods you eat.
Symptoms of a slow metabolism
A slow metabolism can be fixed and improved. And it’s usually a lot more straightforward that you may think.
For the most part, you’ll be able to do this using the right types of foods and a few small lifestyle changes.
Before we look at how to boost your metabolism, it’s worth looking at the other symptoms apart from weight gain.
The main symptoms include some of these:
- Excessive bloating after a meal
- Anxiety and depression
- Frequent urination
- Can’t lose weight
- Dry mouth and thirsty
- Lack of concentration
- Brain fog
- Low energy levels
- Low immune system
- Constant fatigue
- Cold body temperature
- Thinning of head hair
- Dry skin
- Low sex drive
- Irregular periods

Stop Crash Dieting
you take nothing else away from reading this post other than stopping
(or considering) a crash diet to lose weight, then I’ll consider that to
be a success.
Crash dieting over long periods of time can severely disrupt our hormone function within out bodies.
And for some people this takes months, even years to correct.
These types of diets actually result in more weight gain due to the hormone imbalance.
…that’s enough of a rant about crash dieting for now.
I’ve found a great video by Dr Axe which explains how to naturally boost your metabolism.
He’s a pretty cool guy, and I really liked this video.
It’s only a few minutes long and he’ll walk you through each of the steps to take to increase your metabolism.
As I mentioned above, boosting your metabolism is not as complicated as you may have thought.
you use the steps in the video about – plus some common sense as to
what to eat and when to rest your body, you’ll do just fine.
important thing to remember is that this will not be an overnight
process. It will take a bit of time – but it will be worth it.
